Into the Creation: Blog #2
Creating the website was such a beautiful and flowing experience. It was like breath, flowing through my fingers. The funny thing is, at the beginning of the month, it looked like a mountain, ahhh man, launch is November 1st, how in the world am I going to create an entire site in a month lol. Little did I know ;).
So, I started small, color schemes that I wanted to flow with on the site, that was very simple, then I started with the offerings page, no pictures, not even a description lol or anything yet, just the names of what I would be offering. Then came the contributors pictures (thank you so much for the collaborators on Unsplash!) and the gratitudes page.
It was about another week and a half to two weeks before I even thought about touching the website again. I scheduled my photoshoot for my offerings, and each day would pass by lol, “okay, I’ll do it this day”, that day came, “hmmm, the sun already set, I’ll do it tomorrow”, tomorrow came lmao and “definitely tomorrow, tomorrow lol”. Then came the day I finally decided to, it was a very ordinary morning, I arose, all smiling and grateful, then I noticed, “omg, the sun is rising!” I went outside with my offerings, and we had a sunrise photoshoot! It happened so naturally, nothing was forced, I didn’t feel obligated to do it and I had so much fun! I also got to witness the sunrise, feel the crisp morning air on my skin and started the day with fresh clean, crisp, air! That was a mini celebration lol.
That day went by, it was an amazing day, I also filmed an unboxing for the Trinity Box I made for myself! I’m very excited to sit down and watch it! :D Then the next day came, I felt inspired to create a flyer for my community, I created it, out in nature, warm sun on my skin, beaming on my back lol, trees swaying, birds singing, puppies saying hi! I printed and hung the flyer in the mail room, and it hit me, like holy shit, I’m doing this. I’m starting my business! I had a mini celebration that day as well!
The next day, I came back to the website, I started with the About and Home page, it beautifully flowed out of me like an infinite river! Then I added the pictures from the photoshoot and added the descriptions to the offerings! From there, everything started to flow as it wished! Then I started thinking about how my dream is to open a brick-and-mortar UniRose as a 30th birthday gift to myself, I desire for it to be UniRose, with a gallery, as well as a café within it. From there, I decided, you know what, why wait? I can create that beautiful ambience for UniRose now! This is how The Café and The Gallerŷ were born! The first Café blog came out so smoothly and beautifully! I was honestly in tears reading it back!
Then the Events page came for the Apothecary Nights! Then finally the site was ready to publish. I noticed how beautifully my Essence flowed into the Events, Gallerŷ and Café! It reminded me beautifully that the Essence of UniRose isn’t just the offerings that we create but presence, connection, and creativity. As I witnessed what I created, I witnessed the beauty in all the offerings, not just the Apothecary offerings but the ones that also come from my Heart, that flow from my Essence and Soul and ask for nothing in return. They are so beautiful. I’m noticing that I feel so safe to share, to create, to connect, to open here! I created this safe space for myself! :) I trusted the rhythm, I trusted that it would be done and it would be beautiful and here we are, here it is. The mountain was climbable after all, slowly and steadily, devotedly and patiently. I’m so excited for launch, Apothecary Nights, to keep sharing in The Café, and beyond. I’m incredibly proud of what I’ve created and I’m so grateful I get to share it!
So from my Heart to yours, thank you for being here, thank you for sharing space and presence! I see you, I honor you, I love you!
